Wilmington's Walk of Fame

Is located behind the Cotton Exchange and unlike it's namesake in Hollywood it is home to all sorts of luminaries and not just those from the entertainment industry.

Why does Wilmington have
a Walk of Fame.

It is likely that many in Wilmington and in the state, wish that the entertainment industry were thriving enough in North Carolina that we could have a true "walk of fame" with the same criteria as Hollywood. Television, Radio and Motion Pictures are the only catagories there. Perhaps we could feature a star studded walk on Front or Water street.

It would seem that we already have hosted enough celebrities in the state to make a great start.
